Illusions 06:07
What can I see, With all these walls around me? All of my life I’ve built them up, I’m caught inside of definition, And I can’t help but feel I’m stuck. What can I feel, When every feeling feels so real? When you see ice and I see fire, My heart is lied to by desire, An Iron chain of boundless zeal. If time is an illusion, Where does that leave me but Trapped inside an everchanging dream: A simulation of What will come to pass, If we can find a way to see Past the Illusions. What can I know, When water so clear can turn to snow? All of these questions inside my head are Fighting a war with me, When all that dictates a tree’s life is the color Of the stuff that falls from the sky. Some say time is fixed; A fleeting image to our minds, Each wristwatch: a corrosion, Each telescope a time machine, to See the stars of our past lives. We look through the glass at Twisted objects held up to the other side Trying to make out shapes and figures that We can call The truth

Too Small 03:39
Ladies and Gentlemen, Sit Down I need to make amends Cause it's come to my attention That most of you are straight white men, With two blue eyes and that's fine But alas my friend came out the other day, So how your heads and let us pray That he finds himself again eventually So put your hands together, And burn your polyester That'd mean the world to me And if you're happy and you know it that's a sin In grand design or grand abandonment, Our only concern is in who wins This world is on decline, Just how it's all be prophesized Some say the human race Now has their morals all misplaced And has forgotten that their mother is the earth But I think that that's all pretty selfish, We renew garbage more than vows And we're all eating too much shellfish And if you're happy and you know it that's a sin In grand design or grand abandonment, Our only concern is in who wins Cuz maybe we're all just pretty odd And maybe we're too small to talk to God Maybe we're too small to talk to God And from church to steeple (From synapse to synapse, our wealth comes in what we do) Our health comes when we're forgiven For the sins that we're committing, Because our instincts can be misleading (You shouldn't think while you're feeling) And if you're happy and you know it that's a sin In grand design or grand abandonment, Our only concern is in who wins Cuz maybe we're all just pretty odd And maybe we're too small to talk to God, Maybe we're too small And maybe we're too smart to talk to god

Tell me once or twice about the times That I ran too fast away from the civilized I was lost at sea, well it was no surprise That I found myself swimming against the tide I’m not young, but I’m still a child I need a sense of faith, A hope for a little while Maybe I’m lost to the depths of night With fate on my breath and messing with my sight There’s much too much to remember I’ve been away, I’ve been inside Still you’re looking at me like I’ve got something to hide There’s a part of me that I have yet to find Maybe I’m confused, wondering why Why you come and go, Oh please stay the night And I might be young, I might be a child But help me to my feet, try And there’s much too much to remember I’ve been away, And I’ve been inside Still you’re looking at me like I’ve got something to hide There’s a part of me that I have yet to find

Ignorance 03:19
Ignorance, The bane of our existence The world exists in only white and black When we don't know that we know nothing We see the other color and attack, Cause we all know they're backwards and disgusting But when they look at us, well then What do you think they're gonna see? Poverty is rampant, as is war But even so we'll easily forget it We all should give a portion to the poor, But instead I sit and play a thousand dollar trumpet But if we work together, With the only life we have to live, Life might not be so bad, And if we help each other We can make that great cliche To find considerance was all we had to have Hey there Mr. Sun up in the sky, Don't you know your days are numbered? And everything beneath you's gonna die Whether or not they know your atomic structure? But when we look at you, All we think is whether we can get a tan. Every politician, Every king and every clown And everyone you'll ever love or meet Every long-sought mission, Every smile and every frown, And everywhere you'll ever rest your feet And every proud religion, every dirty college dorm And every child's hopes, every calm before the storm And every human folly, if you like it or if not, Still floats in endless time and space On a tiny pale blue dot.

Wandrin' 04:01
Wandrin’ forward Underneath the bluest skies, Only waiting for what I do not know Wandrin,’ Walking, Seeking why the bluebirds fly Feeling lonely, knowing not what that may show With the wind, The feeling of freedom that slips into my eyes Seeking whether I alone can reach the highest highs Waxing, Waning Getting deeper all the time Until at last I can succumb to my demise

Sunny Side 04:34
Apologize, Apologize to me God knows you used to For everything you didn't do Apologize Another time, another place Another twinkle in your eyes, a smile on your face I want to send my thoughts away, Cause I'm worried I might get paranoid again And on the sunny side of my mind, South from the sadness, Where two out of three ain't bad There's a losing battle of heart vs. head It makes me angry, But I'm Far from mad And so we're here Another why, another where Another question of "Who's to say it's fair?" I'm dropping all my eaves as I run True, you deserve the world, but doesn't everyone? And on the sunny side of my mind, South from the sadness, Where two out of three ain't bad There's a losing battle of heart vs. head It makes me angry, Don't you dare say I'm mad

Come Passion 04:13
I'm one with the family Of dogs who look with eager eyes each day. They shake with great excitement that the door frame of their cage May bring to them freedom through play, And I wonder why There are people taking every action like it wields such a great weight, As if by some strange order our nature's our enemy; Dogs grown to monkeys and monkeys to man, Dogs with hands and and overused conscience. For every day I see a new door open, An invitation to a brand new stage, And every night I see a haze of starlight, The same that watched over my grandfather's dreams. And each new law built up from dust Has only meaning in this microscopic world Of black and white bacteria. Wonder, Compassion, Concepts arising on a speck of soil In the desert of space. So why don't you sing me a song about your latest heartbreak, Dance to the rhythm of the raindrops on your office building, Stay up late just to finish that song, Just to prove to yourself that your heart can do anything. You're a human being so go and be, Our whole life a spectacle to see, So every time you choose to breathe, Remember: This feeling was made for you and me. I'm one with the family Of every child that ever was or ever will be.

On the grass of Ireland there lives a farmer His crop spreads far and wide across the land He’s got a wife, a wooden cross, and a daughter, And his walls are lined with four leaf clovers He thinks he’s lucky, The world outside his wall won’t trouble him His life is honest, and therefore it means something To the lord he knows has chose this life for him, But I know there’s more to see More opportunity to come my way And you said it’d go unnoticed But I've noticed: I’ve noticed you’re wrong. Deep in the city Of the great Manhattan island, There lives a businessman on his own; He’s got a suit, a briefcase and a remote control, And his walls are lined with copper wire Oh he thinks he lucky, The world outside his walls is clear to him. He’s seen the news, He knows the plight of the masses thoughts condemned And he’s got a stack of green papers to prove that he’s better than them, But I know there’s more to see More opportunity to come my way And you said it’d go unnoticed But I’ve noticed: I’ve noticed you’re wrong The farmer kneels down beside the fire And does the thing he was taught would make everything right Oh, perhaps he’s lucky: To him there’s an answer, No mystery or strife But I know there’s more to see, More opportunities to come my way And I know life’s just one big mystery And I have a history Of finding mystery ain’t wrong.

Next to You 04:25
Well I find myself Running with No direction Searching for any reason to stay but, Eventually this will end Sometimes I need a place to rest my head, Sometimes I'm running through the night But if I end up in your arms instead, Please don't patronize my life Cause I'm not sure what I want, But that's all right, And that's alright I may be going about this wrong but, It's too late now And I think I may have just found someone To help me figure it out And I'm not sure why you think it's wise To put my burdens on you But we can fix things if we try, And it's what we should do Now I'm finding who I am Next to you I'm a liltle bit lost And all I needed was your love Well hopes hopes hopes they fall With sunken eyes and wake-up calls

Depthless 06:25
It's my curiosity Interest grows in places I can't see So break down those high walls of virtue With your deep desire and you'll hear On the map I see There's a town with no dimension A short time I may be subdued And in result a broader path in the future Stuck in precaution by duty and by shame Why should you fight chance, for your potential pain? Not for mass of strength, but these marks will instill Guide us in our future endeavors And thrive on all your passions is what they say. Fulfillment will come most every day Travel to your questions, Depthless as they seem, Regret is a second thought It seems you’ve rearranged the pieces of your life And people may question your intentions Your heart's not in your head for a reason No more wandrin' through illusions, cheated skies clear for the truth Thrive on all your passions is what they say. Fulfillment will come most every day Travel to your questions, Depthless as they seem, Regret is a second thought So give them your heart, but with your head; Speak no riddles, only truths should be said. The people who care, the people who don't yet too, They want to understand, know what makes up you. And can't you see, oh can't you see? Whatever these changes do, they will not denature me.
